Something of a musical interlude for me, this last week. The last gasp of the festival was followed by the Gypsy Arts Festival which made use of the Spiegelgarden before it gets dismantled and shipped off to sunny Australia. I am tempted to dust down my CV and see if I can follow them there…..both [...]

Went to the opening night of Loving Burns yesterday. A beautifully lyrical play written, directed and performed by Alicia Devine, a friend of a friend. I used to hear music coming out of rehersal rooms near my home and wonder who they were. Sadly the rooms have been torn down in the march of “progress” – but the music has surfaced !
